Giveaway Madness!

I am a big fan of larabars. They are real food, they are delicious and they are easy to grab on the go. What I am less then a fan of is for the full size bars they are tough to only eat half and a little too much for a single snack. Enter the minis! I am in such deep love with these. This week's giveaway is a a 12 pack box of the larabar minis. They happily come with my favorite flavor cherry pie. To enter all you have to do is submit a comment and tell me what is your biggest exercise challenge or question? Mine is do I really need to wear a heart rate monitor? I am trying to hook us up with a fitness expert of some sort to answer said questions.... Comment away please!

  1. How accurate are calorie burn counts that the exercise machines display during/after your workout?

  3. My biggest challenge is getting my belly to stop looking like I a beer drinker. It is so big and gross, I need more workouts to help get it down in size!

  4. Bethanny- I'll trade you belly for my completely shrink resistant thighs?

  5. First of all, WHAT?! They make mini Lara bars?! I've never seen them! I love Lara bars, but it's SO hard to eat only half of the normal sized ones. They're too delicious.

Bethanny, I share your belly trouble. I'd be curious to hear from an expert as to whether or not they think that certain foods could be a contributing factor. I know that we all carry our weight differently, but still.

I would also say that one of my biggest exercise challenges is simply motivating myself to work out right after work each day. If I come home from work and sit down with my laptop or in front of the TV for too long, the likelihood that I can convince myself to take the day off goes way up. And while we all could use the occasional day(s) off for muscle recuperation and such, it's a slippery slope for me.

  6. I would love a fitness expert's opinion on the ever elusive 'runners high' that I cannot seem to obtain. I'd like to know whether you have to be a runner to achieve it, and whether or not it is the body's way of telling you how hard to push yourself (ie, if you don't achieve one, should you be working harder).
This is a great idea :)

  7. I don't think I can win twice in a row but I still want to answer your questions !! ^_^

My biggest exercise challenge is jogging/running !! I cannot seem to conquer that part. I don't know how people are able to run for miles. I feel like I'll die if I even try to go for one mile --- and I've tried it ! I go for a lap and I'm breathing like I've run a marathon. :( This is definitely on my list of challenges that I MUST master. :)

  8. My biggest exercise challenge is being able to find the time to commit to working out. My schedule is so full already some days it is even hard to find 30 minutes of down time!

  9. My biggest exercise challenge is consistency. I go at it hard for a couple months. Then I slack off and undo all the hard work.

  10. Hi! My biggest challenge is not giving up when I don't get the results I want. If I don't loose weight, I eat more to make myself feel better. I definately have to stop that!
