A few sneak peaks

In looking ahead to new videos, I was thinking of discussing the following:

How to find a good nutritionist, mostly because I have seen lots of icky ones before finding Marisa

The differences between overeating, emotional eating, and binging,

Two of my friends Lisa who has lost 100 pounds and kept most of it off for 6 years after a life time of dieting, and Tina who lost 155 pounds and has kept it off for 8 years. I thought these ladies my join me in sharing their stories and their tips.

Thoughts? Feelings? Emotions?

  1. Anna, Your Rewards Vlog was interesting; we are on the same page. For no reason at all, I might go to Fry's and purchase either an LED light or wide angle lense for my HD Handycam....or maybe stop for breakfast and have a couple of tacos de carnitas. However, my rewards never include binging or overeating. BTW there is a good article which explains the difference between a Nutritionist and Registered Diatitian. Keep up the good work! Your Vlogs are getting better. How about sharing what you eat to maintain your weight and your daily exercise program? Do you believe in supplements or meal replacement drinks? Daddy D.

  2. Thanks so much. I am definitely also thinking about incorporating more of what I eat and my exercise regimen. I get asked all the time you don't diet but what do you eat, so I am looking forward to sharing that because I eat just about everything.

I take supplements recommended by my acupuncturist, Chinese herbs, magnesium, and fish oil. I have found success with these and highly recommend acupuncture. I do not eat any meal supplements or meal replacements. I find the bars make me a little bingey they just are not completely satisfying, or they are very tasty and too close to candy. I occasionally when I am on the go or want something sweet and baked good like eat an odwalla bar, or a gnu bar. They are pretty unprocessed and naturally sweetened so I find them satisfying but not triggering. Drinks do not really do it for me either. I want to eat my calories not drink them, but I know lots of people who love and enjoy a breakfast smoothie in the morning. I want a smoothie and some oatmeal so no go for me.

Thanks for the comments, and the article. I will check this out now!
