  1. Anna, Great webisode! I especially liked your advice to get moving with an exercise plan! Talk about what it takes to overcome being lazy...and just not wanting to exercise. That's my problem. Daddy D.

  2. Thanks so much and great question. Exercise gets easier the more you do it and the more you start to feel connected to it. At first for me I only did it to lose weight, now I do it because I love it. I love how I feel stronger, healthier, and it's something I do exclusively for me.

I experimented with lots of things before I found what works for me. I did on demand at home, wii fit, and then I found a trainer I really liked working with and started my strength training that way. I started with 30 minutes on the treadmill and watched tv while I was walking. Now I do something similar, I watch TV but now I am running or walking on a very steep incline at a really fast pace. It's my time to watch really horrible TV on my ipod and I get my exercise in. I do that 3 times a week and also take spinning classes. They have helped build my endurance and stamina and it gives me a incredible endorphin high that I am hooked on.
Try committing to small steps and trying out something new every week. a 10 minute walk is better then no walk. I have friends who are in kickball and dodge ball leagues and love it. They have fun, like the team sports, and are getting their cardio in. Other friends bike to and from work every day. Everyone is different but I do know this once you start you will get addicted and start finding more and more things that work for you, fit into your life style, make you feel awesome, and build your confidence.
