I kinda live for those, so I am going to do that today. Lemme know if I missed anything earth shattering pretty please.
1. I am LOVING this album.
2. I knew the lady behind Rodin would be unspeakably chic, and swoon worthy. Can we discuss her being 65? New life goal, wear leather pants & hot pink lipstick in 60's. Check back in less then 30 years, bluuurghhhhhhh to that admittance.
3. I sent this video to a client by accident, instead of their final videos. It was worth it.
4. I can't with this girl's typography or wit.
5. Interesting post about body acceptance even if you want to lose a few pounds, can it be done?
6. These Shoes.
7. This recipe. In my mouth now. Go.
8. This fam's trip to the Philippines, think they'll adopt me?
9. So this exists, you're welcome.
10. Who wants to go reenact Designing Women with me here?
I printed the recipe. Am so making it this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. YUM.
Me to! Quinoa + Thai flavors, I am hoping equals delicious. Let me know how yours turns out!
DeleteLove this post, a breath of fresh air x
ReplyDeleteAww shucks, thanks lady! x
DeleteThose shoes make me wish I could walk in heels without looking like a 5 year old playing around in her mother's shoe closet. Le sigh.
ReplyDeleteGurrrrrlll you could totally walk in these. There is a thicker heel & a platform. You're good. I think heels are about a decent fit and construction and attitude. Seriously. I'm clumsy and can pull off mega heels, there is hope for us all.
DeleteOh hell nah! There's a Dolly Parton tumbler, and this girl didn't know about it?! Bookmarked immediately! Also, get me to that designing women reenactment sight, I'd make a damn good sugarbaker
ReplyDeleteWhoops site not sight! Hehe, it's late forgive me.
DeleteI could not adore you more for the sugarbaker reference. Dolly Parton just amuses me, now a whole tumblr of amusement. I can't.
DeleteI just wanted to say hi, because I've spent the last few days reading a ton of your archive. I really appreciate your voice & your experience, so, hello from another New Yorker with feelings about food and fatness.
ReplyDeleteThis is a weird thing, but I think we use the same nutrition practice (not the same nutritionist, though). Is Marisa's office on 20th St.?
Hi Em, that's super cool! Thank you for reading some of ye olden entires and saying hi. Very cool you are a fellow New Yorker, at least one person knows some of the places I reference :)
DeleteYes, Marisa is on 20th, I see Stephanie now because Marisa went on maternity leave and then I just stayed with Stephanie. Everyone there is great I've found, too funny you go there to! If our paths cross there, please say hello.
I will totally say hello if I spot you amongst the oil-diffuser sticks & teeny water features (the waiting room makes me giggle a little, probably because I am a cynical asshole, but does not diminish my love of my nutritionist). I won't be around this summer (maternity leave is really the order of the year over there, it seems! And I'm too devoted or nervous to see someone else), but maybe one day a stranger will recognize you from the internet.
