Can you make a big batch of the quinoa up and re heat or does it go sludgy?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2149234459680138738.post-39244007230040184262011-03-15T12:31:29.339-04:002011-03-15T12:31:29.339-04:00sarahlearns- use those grains up! I also like quinoa steamed with roasted veggies mixed in.

D- Welcome! I love quinoa in salads to. I like your suggestion. Love all those things. I LOVE farro. The red is a little more nutty tasting but c'est la vie. Think of me as your alternative grains ambassador.Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17762115760694650114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2149234459680138738.post-30199143985606600022011-03-14T17:07:25.018-04:002011-03-14T17:07:25.018-04:00I'll give it a try and let you know. I think that held me back from trying it. It's a little nutty, little chewy, and completely delicious. What I like most is it can be a great substitute for rice. It has more protein, amino acids, high in magnesium, and iron so you get the same taste but way more nutrition. It's also gluten free so it's easy on the belly. Make sure you rinse it first, other wise it can be bitter, or check the kind you buy some are pre-rinsed.Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17762115760694650114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2149234459680138738.post-27931782586313330902011-03-14T16:43:23.998-04:002011-03-14T16:43:23.998-04:00You promise that stuff is good ? :-/ I've neve...You promise that stuff is good ? :-/ I've never heard of quinoa before seeing it here.Ellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17685904671876140812noreply@blogger.com
